The Emergency Management Department in Marlborough consists of a director, two deputy directors and two clerks.
Recently we welcomed Ashley Jacques as our newly appointed clerk. This month we would like to spotlight Dianne Zareski, our veteran clerk.
Dianne has lived in Marlborough since 1979. As an emergency management clerk her primary role is to inspect and inventory all of our equipment annually. Dianne is actively involved with EOC (Emergency Operations Center) support functions and emergency shelter operations.
Marlborough CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) falls under the direction of emergency management where Dianne is an active member aiding with duties such as search and rescue missions and traffic direction for large events. Dianne is also a licensed armature (HAM) radio operator which can be used during large scale emergencies.
We are very fortunate to have such qualified individuals, such as Dianne, who dedicate themselves to keeping our community safe.
