“While a stunning first impression is not the same thing as love at first sight, it surely is an invitation to consider the matter.” (Anonymous)

Welcome to Marlborough’s newly updated website! Hopefully, you’ll find it reflects the true personality of our town while providing all the important local information. We hope it will be a place you’ll want to visit often.

The Marlborough Planning Commission is in the process of updating the 2009 Town Plan of Conservation & Development (POCD) which is the road map to the Town’s future development and public improvements. As part of this updating process, we invite you to share your vision of Marlborough by completing this community survey. The results of this survey will influence the final recommendations and policies that the POCD will incorporate. Therefore, your input is a valuable and a vital source of information to help the Town make critical decisions about the future and quality of life enjoyed by Marlborough residents.
There are two ways that you can respond to the community survey:
Go to https://www.research.net/r/MarlboroughCT and fill out the survey online starting TODAY or complete on or before October 31.
OR
Fill out the hard copy survey that will be sent to you by mail and mail it back in the enclosed stamped envelope before October 31.
Your responses will be considered confidential unless you choose to provide contact information, and all of the responses will be aggregated and reported as a group. No individual responses will be identified and made public.
The survey has a variety of questions concerning aspects of the Town’s current services and those services that may be desirable over the next ten (10) years. Additionally, it seeks input on future Town expenditures on community facilities and infrastructure such as buildings, recreation fields, roads, sewers, and water.
The Marlborough Planning Commission wants to thank you for taking the time to fill out the community survey and making a contribution to the future of Marlborough.
