Summer's here - let the road repairs begin!
We anticipate the following roads will be crack-sealed beginning on June 7th: South Stony Brook, Mayflower, Alden Circle, South Buckboard, Hidden Woods, Ruby, and Hoccanum.
We anticipate that chip-sealing will begin on Emily, Ruby and Lewis beginning on June 10th.
(As with any road project, start dates and finish dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.)
These processes are critical to extending the life of our roads and saving tax dollars. While the roads will remain open to traffic during these repairs, you may want to find an alternate route and/or drive VERY cautiously. Until it has time to set, the crack-sealing process can get on your car, and the loose stones and oil used in chip-sealing make driving slippery until the stones are worked into the pavement. Either process can mark or damage your car unless extreme caution is used. All driving is done at the drivers own risk, and the Town is not liable for any damage or cleaning.
We understand that this is an inconvenience to the residents on these roads, and we appreciate your patience while we make these improvements!
