The Registrar of Voters’ normal business hours are Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Below are voter registration deadlines and special voter registration hours for the November 3, 2020 Election.

• Mail-In Registration must be postmarked by 10/27/2020.
• Registration made though the CT Secretary of State website at: must be completed by midnight 10/27/2020.
• Registration made through the DMV and AAA offices must be completed by midnight 10/27/2020.
• In Person until Tuesday, 10/27/2020 at 8:00 pm.

The Registrar of Voters office will hold special voter registration sessions on:

o Tuesday, October 27th from 8:30 to 8 p.m.

o Any person who becomes 18, is naturalized as a citizen or a Marlborough resident after October 27, 2020 may register to vote in person no later than 5 p.m. on November 2, 2020. Registrar’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for this purpose. Between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., the Town Clerk’s office will be open to receive your voter registration card. Proof of age, citizenship or new residence in Marlborough must be submitted.

o Election Day Registration will be held on November 3, 2020 in the Large Conference Room of Marlborough Town Hall from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing eligible individuals (who reside in Marlborough) to register to vote and cast a ballot on Election Day. Proof of residency in Marlborough is required. There will be signs directing you to the room where Election Day Registration will be held.

    Over the past few days there has been an increase in nighttime car larcenies in Marlborough and numerous surrounding towns. Outside of Marlborough, several cars have also been stolen.
    Please be aware of anything unusual in the early morning hours and  IMMEDIATELYcall 911 if it is suspicious.
